A Level
A Levels are the two-year courses that follow IGCSE, usually in three or four subjects, and UK universities make their offers in A Level grades. Edunest tutors teach Cambridge International AS & A Level and Pearson Edexcel International A Level online, one tutor with one learner, planned around the exam series and Qatar evenings.

Who it is for
The step from IGCSE to A Level is the steepest in school. Topics arrive faster, questions expect several ideas at once, and far more study happens alone. Learners in Qatar tend to ask for help in Year 12, when the first units feel much harder than IGCSE, and in Year 13, when the grades behind university offers are on the line.
How it is structured
Cambridge International AS & A Level treats the AS as the first half of the course, and the AS can also stand as a qualification on its own; the full A Level adds the second year. Its exams run in the June and November series. Pearson Edexcel International A Level is modular: learners sit units across the two years in the January, May to June and October series, and each series carries its own set of units.

How online tutoring fits
At A Level a learner often follows a lesson in class and then stalls alone on the homework. Weekly online sessions close that gap: the tutor works through the problems the learner brought, then sets the next ones. Because A Level answers depend on clear reasoning, the tutor reads every line of working on the shared whiteboard and corrects the method at the point it slips.
